Why Tikvah

Community

Our M.A. is more than a graduate program.

Our graduate students not only earn a degree but also have the opportunity to foster long-term relationships with Tikvah instructors and the broader Tikvah community, as part of a mission to build a movement for Jewish classical education. Alumni can benefit from mentorship by veteran teachers, participation in an intellectual community with shared goals, assistance with placement in Jewish day schools and yeshivas, and opportunities to participate in Lobel Center programs and professional development.

Students will also have the chance to connect with the broader classical education movement—a network of educators, conferences, university-level research programs, curriculum projects, and K-12 schools with tens of thousands of students enrolled across North America.
